My name is Dan Dean and I’m a survivor of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Currently, I am the Director of Alumni and Student Relations with the Case Alumni Association at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
This untitled book project began as my Master’s thesis in Case Western’s Master’s of Public Health program, but it grew out of that program requirement to be a much broader and larger project. It is my dream to provide young adult cancer survivors with a resource that they can refer to in the difficult, yet rewarding, stages of survivorship.

Book description
I would like to interview young adult cancer survivors who are between the ages of 18 and 40 and who are at least two (2) years out of treatment.
The goal of sharing your story—fraught with both the struggles and joys of survivorship—is to hopefully inspire, comfort, and support other survivors as they face similar situations.
